Georgia O'Keefe

Georgia Totto O'Keeffe (November 15, 1887 – March 6, 1986) was an American artist.
Born near Sun Prairie, Wisconsin,
O'Keefe was known for her large blossom painting often incorporating bones giving her art a south western look.
In 1972, O'Keeffe's eyesight was compromised by macular degeneration, leading to the loss of central vision and leaving her with only peripheral vision.
Each of you will be researching a favorite flower and will create a large rendition of what you see. We will be using oil pastels to achieve Georgia O'Keefe's same smooth flowing style.
