Georgia O'Keefe Inspired Flowers

In this lesson we will be exploring the artist Georgia O'Keefe and her famous close up flower paintings.

Supplies:
* a zoomed in view of your favorite flower
* colored construction paper
* white chalk pencil
* oil pastels

Students are to draw and exact replica of their chosen flower picture. Students are to draw the flower on colored construction paper with white chalk pencil. Once the flower is drawn you will then use oil pastel to color in the flower. TIP: use your fingers to smudge the oil pastels together to ge the blended technique.
