I MUST APPROVE YOUR PERSPECTIVE PHOTOS AND PRINT YOUR BEST ONE

Once you have your best perspective photo printed you need to grab a white 9X 9 piece of white paper, a number 2 or mechanical pencil ( NO EBONY) and a ruler.

Composition

Rules for creating a good composition

1. Format ( consider what your paper looks like)

2. Plan ( where are you going to place things)

           * Rule of thirds ( Points of interest at intersection

           * Crop your image ( even negative and positive space)

           * Do not center your image in the middle of the page

           * Odd numbers work better in smaller groups

3. Vary baselines ( different starting and ending heights)

            * illusion of space (foreground, middle ground an      background)

Page Art

Each of you are going to get a page in a book. On that page you will be creating a work of art. Your work of art can come from your imagination or you can take a passage from the page and illustrate it.

Here are some examples.

Skeleton

IT'S THAT CREEPY TIME OF YEAR!!!

We are going to be creating a creepy yet, psychedelic picture/ painting. 

All of you are going to be drawing a skeleton body part out of a hat. You will be drawing that particular skeleton piece on a white piece of paper with ebony pencil.

The background of your art work will be created using water concentrated water color.

 

Step One:

Use concentrated water color to create a colorful abstract background.

Step: Two:

Draw skeleton portion correctly and accurately using ebony pencil. 

Step Three: 

Use a straw and dark colored water color to create spider-ed/ vein effect on the paper. 

Step Four:

Cute skeleton out and assemble it on colored background paper.

Analogous Color

Analogous colors are groups of colors that are adjacent to each other on the color wheel.
 

COLOR WHEEL

Each of you will be painting your own color wheel from the 3 primary colors.

First you will be designing a unique and creative color wheel design. Don't over think it!!
